The Story of Robert Neal Sklare
Robert graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in engineering, and joined the Navy as an officer on Fletcher class destroyers. He came back to Chicago and worked for a building contractor before starting his own real estate development firm and built 4,000 apartments, with an emphasis on elderly housing. His later life passion was philanthropy, particularly in Israel.
